Equal Access Unit

The Equal Access Unit (E.A.U.) is aimed at students with disabilities and/or other special educational needs, offering targeted services to improve accessibility to the educational process, strengthen personal development skills, personalized academic support, and promoting equal participation in all activities and actions of the University and the wider community.

 The goal of E.A.U.:

• Ensuring equal access to academic studies for students with different abilities and requirements.
• Equal, unrestricted participation in the “life” of the University Community, and in the individual activities that take place within the framework of their studies.

 Vision of E.A.U.:

1. Creating an inclusive academic environment.

E.A.U. is aimed at all undergraduate and postgraduate students with disabilities and special educational needs at the Democritus University of Thrace, and its services are offered free of charge.
