The Psychological and Counseling Support Center at Democritus University of Thrace was established by virtue of Senate Decision No. 5/97/16-11-2023.

It commenced operations in 2023 with the mission of providing psychological and counseling support services and preventing mental health issues among members of the university community, particularly students enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.

Τhe services of the Center are offered free of charge.
